Lay back, act natural, and let’s take some pictures
This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true self.
The real You framed into a timeless portrait
My approach
01.
Fill out the form
Once you’ve made up your mind, complete the form, and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.
02.
Meet up
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out.
03.
Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.
04.
Delivering photos
In one or two weeks, you will receive your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You will have my cell number, so you can text me at any time to ask questions.
This is about you, be yourself and don't worry about what I like or don't like.
If you would like to pitch an idea, and would like my professional insight, I would love to help you in anyway I can!
Weather can and always will be a factor. I have shot photos in all types of weather, so we will always have options if you are willing to be flexible.
Rescheduling a Photoshoot does happen and if need be it can easily be worked out.
Be Bold and Fearless! This is a you moment. You may be unsure and feeling like you are in uncharted waters, but I can tell you, the worst that can happen is that you get epic shots of yourself, better than you expected!
What should I wear?
For private portrait sessions, this we will for sure discuss before hand if need be. It all really depends on your style, the shoot location, and the weather. This is always the exciting part of the Photo session. Getting creative and making your vision come to life feels so rewarding. And don't worry, if you like to hold things things loosely, I have great ideas as well that I will pitch to you!
How many pictures will I receive?
Typically 30 - 60 for a small shoot and up to 200 for a shoot over an hour.
Weddings typically have 300 - 900 photos including a condensed album of editor highlights. I upload all the photos I take, to a gallery that you can download from.
Are you available outside of Port Angeles?
Yes I am! To make it work we will have to discuss more details. It may take more planning ahead and a little more cost wise for traveling, but we definingly can make something happen.
Do you do couples photography?
Yes definitely. I love doing couple photoshoots. Some couples may be uncomfortable and hesitant at first, but usually it ends up being an awesome time at the end of the day. And remember, its an adventure for the couple, I will probably make your experience more like bringing along a good friend!
Do you have good suggestions for senic areas for photoshoots in the area?
Absolutely! I've explored a lot of the Olympic Peninsula and other parts of Washington. There are so many beautiful places in this area!
